After identifying the areas of water leakage, the product is applied directly to the surface without first draining the stormwater retention basin or lagoons. Upon contact with water, COLMATEK™ activates immediately and forms sticky sheets that migrate to the bottom due to the natural suction generated by the leak or cracks.
Once in place, the product continues to expand until it effectively seals the defective area.
